So Konami and Sony in all their vast intelligence decided to release a demo of Metal Gear Solid 4 on the PSN Update. That's a little stupid considering how long ago MGS came out. Unless it's to bring back interest so they can announce the Xbox 360 port

Doesn't every PS3 owner already own this game?
Also, if the demo is designed to garner interest so they can announce a 360 port, isn't that a total bitch-slap to the PS3 faithful? -------------------- |

Isnt it a bit optimistic to just assume that MGS4 is coming to 360? I'd love if it did, but I'd guesstimate about a 40%(random number ftw) chance of being ported.
Not every PS3 owner has it, I know people that use them as Blu-Ray players exclusively. There are other people who don't like Metal Gear Solid, this could be aimed at getting new fans. Then perhaps there is someone who dropped the cash for a PS3 and can't quite get a game yet, or only a bargain bin game. A demo will help allow them to experience the game before they can afford it. -------------------- ![]() |

I'm a total Sony supporter through and through, but I just think that to release a demo this far past the actual release is worthless. I want Sony to have exclusives. Tekken 6 going to Xbox 360 was a total letdown considering the games have been released for PS exclusively, not including that GBA release. But with other newer games coming out, demos of those should be considered prior to MGS, which I enjoyed throughly.

Unless it's to bring back interest so they can announce the Xbox 360 port I don't think MGS4 will be out for the XBox360...The MGS series is exclusive for the PC and Playstation series right?? Correct me if i'm wrong.. |
